I'm relatively new to lojban and it's nice to have access to a lojban only forum. I'm not good enough to chat or understand everything said quickly. But a forum gives me the freedom to work through it.
Looking forward to making new friends and learning more.

Please make the header image smaller so that you don't have to scroll down to see the actual forum.
I'm also still trying to figure out how to get email notifications for new posts, which I consider a crucial component of a forum. freeforums allegedly does support this, but maybe you need to install/enable it first (or I'm just not seeing it).

I agree. That header was getting annoying. Fixed  . Try going to profile: Edit Profile: Notifications. You can fine-tune your forum and email notifications there. Let me know if that works. |

I didn't want to make a new thread for this, so I'm asking here: Could we change the background and header to something more Lojban-specific (someone complained)? A frequently-used and good-looking forum might have a chance at getting a place at forum.lojban.org in the future, who knows. We don't seem to have many web designers in our community, and I'm not one myself either, but we can start by improving the background image and header. Opinions?

what should it look like? If you have any ideas, I have some Photoshop experience but it's been a while. [classes in high school (Ph2-4)]
